僕は問いかける
『なんであんな惨めな昨日なんだ？』
君は鼻で笑う
『そんな昔話はもう聞き飽きた』
無限に沸き出る絶望を
押し殺して何気ない顔をする

過ぎていった日は
全力で走っても追い付かなくて
戻せないことに失望が続いても
忘れる、終了。じゃ悲し過ぎるよ。
そんな昨日だからこそ
置き換えられる言葉に 手を伸ばして

僕は問いかける
『なんでこんな惨めな自分なんだ？』
君は用意されたように
『それは今日で何回目なんだ？』
無限に沸き出る絶望を
消してまた違う絶望に気付く

過ぎていった日は
全力で走っても追い付かなくて
戻せないことに失望が続いても
忘れる、終了。じゃ悲し過ぎるよ。
そんな昨日だからこそ
置き換えられる残酷に 顔を上げられるかな？

その絶望は僕に言う
『だからこそ今日も使いきりなさい』
